Our client is looking for Assistant Store Managers with the responsibility of all areas of store operations, cash management, personnel, advertising and promotions to maximize the profitability of the restaurant.  Reports directly to the Store Manager.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given “REMARKable” service at all times.  Walk the restaurant during shifts to correct any issues and promote guest goodwill.  Be the ambassador of the restaurant.
  • Assist to ensure that the facility, staff, and store operations accurately reflect all company branding requirements and quality standards for consistency.
  • Assist in achieving company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility, sanitation and cleanliness through assisting in training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
  • Address any guest concerns, issues or complaints in a timely fashion using the companies  guest recovery model.
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with store and best practice accounting policies and procedures.
  • Manage the use of the company resources of labor, inventory, productivity, food cost/waste in accordance with weekly and monthly goals & objectives.
  • Responsible for management of the shift(s) (MOD) including opening and closing checklists for the store/shift.
  • Perform gift card redemption/issuing; Perform all returns/exchanges/discounts as needed by guests.
  • Attend meetings/training as required by SM or other corporate staff.
  • Effectively delegate tasks and assignments to Team Members, using clear expectations, goals and milestones to maintain controls based on their job descriptions.
  • Fill in (position) where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
  • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
  • Ensure that all workstations and various technical and mechanical equipment are kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.  Adhere to weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and daily cleaning of fixtures, products, and floors.
  • Cover associate/stocker shifts if needed.
  • Be knowledgeable of policies and procedures regarding personnel.  Be able to deliver proper information regarding policies to employees as necessary.  Properly refer inappropriate behaviors and /or misconduct to ASM or SM.
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the store employees and customers.
  • Wear and maintain uniform as outlined in the company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

    Requirements include:
  • 2-5 years high volume ($2M-$6M) restaurant management experience in QSR
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, recognize, and engage successful talent and build strong teams
